Ingredients : 1 cup {250 g) heavy cream 2 cups (500 g) strawberries ½ cup (125 g) sugar 1 cup (250 g) butter, softened 1 tsp vanilla extract 6 eggs 1 cup (250 g) flour ½ cup (125 g) crème fraîche Kosher salt Grease for waffle iron Powdered sugar
Directions : 1. Whip cream until stiff and refrigerate. Clean strawberries, dice, and mix with 4 teaspoons sugar. Cover and set aside. Beat together butter, sugar,1 pinch salt, and vanilla extract until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in flour and crème fraîche. 2. Preheat waffle iron. Grease four cooking surfaces tightly. Spoon 2 tablespoons batter onto the center of the waffle iron and bake each waffle for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Dust with sifted powdered sugar and top with cream and strawberries.
